Ancestral Wine Cellar

LTD "Ancestral Wine Cellar" was founded in 2015. It is situated in Kardenakhi village, at Gulashvili's wine cellar, which dates back to 1871. Ancestral Wine Cellar has vineyards with different varieties of grapes such as; Khikhvi, Kakhetian Mtsvivani, Kakhetian Mtsvane, Simonaseuli, Saperavi, Rkatsiteli, Muscat and Danakharuli. Ancestral wine cellar has a well furnished territory, a mini hotel, ethnographic and wine tasting spaces and verandas overlooking Alazani Valley and the Caucasus. The company offers a tour which allows their guests to take part in wine tasting, Chacha vodka distillation, Churchkhela making, bread baking, a Georgian feast accompanied by Georgian national music with live performance and getting acquainted with Qvevri wine production methods.
