Giorgi Barisashvilis Marani

Giorgi Barisashvili Winery is located in the city of Mtskheta, at 40 Arsukidze Street. Built at the end of the eighteenth century, the cellar houses a family museum of Georgian wine vessels and winemaking tools. Visitors can get acquainted with samples of Georgian jugs and glasses from the ancient to the recent period. The cellar is located in the historical center of the old city, near the Svetitskhoveli Cathedral. Visitors have the opportunity to taste Georgian natural wine, chacha and fruit infusions. They can also get acquainted with the exhibits of the family museum and books published by the cellar owner on Georgian traditional viticulture and winemaking. A visit to the cellar is possible only by prior reservation. It should be noted that the cellar cannot accommodate large groups.
