Iago’s Winery – Organic Viticulture, Qvevri Wine and Georgian Hospitality
Iago’s Winery is located in the village of Chardakhi, near Mtskheta, about 40 minutes from Tbilisi.
We are a small family winery dedicated to organic viticulture and traditional Georgian qvevri winemaking for more than 25 years. Our goal is to produce authentic wines that truly reflect the unique terroir of Kartli, the Chinuri grape variety, and Georgia’s ancient winemaking traditions.
Our vineyards are cultivated using certified organic practices, while our wines ferment naturally and age in traditional clay qvevri buried underground. Minimal intervention, respect for nature, and preservation of centuries-old Georgian winemaking traditions define everything we do.
Iago’s Winery is among the pioneering natural wineries of Georgia and has gained international recognition. Our wines are exported to numerous countries and are served in some of the world’s most respected wine bars and restaurants.
