Japaridze Winery

Japaridze Winery is a small family-owned winery. For many years, my family has traditionally produced wine, but over the past two years, we decided to give the winery a more commercial focus. This decision was also encouraged by the fact that our family has been running a family-style guesthouse for almost eight years, and we noticed a growing demand among tourists to taste local wines. Accordingly, we updated our inventory and modernized the winery’s equipment. We produce wine from endemic grape varieties of the Racha region. We currently have four types of wine: Tsolikouri, Aleksandrouli-Mujuretuli (Khvanchkara), Qvevri Tsolikouri, and Rosé, made from a blend of Shavi Arabuli and Tsolikouri Tetri grapes.
