About
Always OpenLitz Resort, a five-star hotel, is situated near Batumi, Adjara, atop Kvariati Village at an elevation of 370 meters (approximately 1,200 feet) above sea level. The 16-story building seamlessly integrates with the mountain landscape, with only the modern Svani Tower visible from a distance. The name "Litz" derives from the Svani word for water, reflecting the primary challenge faced during construction: managing the pervasive presence of water.
Perched on the edge of the mountain, the hotel offers a spectacular 360-degree view of the coastline, extending from Rize, Turkey, to Batumi. Depending on weather conditions, the magnificent Caucasian Mountains may also be visible.
The hotel's proximity to the primary route of seasonal bird migration makes it an ideal location for birdwatching enthusiasts.
The climate at Litz Resort is a harmonious blend of sea and mountain air, providing significant benefits for individuals with heart and lung conditions. The temperature is typically 7-8°C cooler in summer compared to the coastal areas, with lower humidity and a consistent, pleasant breeze, ensuring a comfortable stay.
All 101 rooms feature unobstructed sea views, with some offering views from two sides and several providing panoramic vistas.
The resort's facilities include indoor and two outdoor swimming pools, a waterfall, multiple restaurants and bars, a spa, a gym, a beauty center, a table games club, a library, a children’s zone, an arcade, a bowling alley, a cinema, a billiards club, and a giant chess and checkers board. Additionally, the resort boasts an astronomical observatory, several fully equipped conference halls, and a grand ballroom with spectacular views, creating an ideal environment for both leisure and activities.
