Always OpenMaradi Kemertelidze’s family winery “Maradiuli” is located in the village of Merjevi, Sachkhere Municipality, in Upper Imereti. The winery is designed in the Georgian style and, accordingly, in an ecologically clean environment. It features a wooden press, qvevri and winemaking equipment. The winery produces grapes of the Dzelshavi and Tsolikauri varieties, which are produced by the qvevri method. The vine is grown at an altitude of about 600 meters above sea level. The product is constantly enriched with biohumus to preserve the product, while the vine needs and otherwise bioparats. The wine does not undergo filtration and chemical processing and is a natural/organic product. Since 2017, repeated “Maradiuli” Dzelshavi wine exports to Japan have been taking place. The mentioned Georgian wine0 can be purchased at 800 Mosavali, as well as at other natural wine specialized bar-shops.
Marani, as a tourist facility, has been operating since 2016. Since then, international visitors have been increasing from Europe, the USA, Japan and other countries.
