About
Martvili Marani was founded in 2012 in the village of Targameuli, Martvili Municipality. We grow local Georgian grape varieties like Ojaleshi, Aladasturi, Orbeli Ojaleshi, Tsolikouri, Tsitsa and Krakhuna on 3 hectares of vineyard.
We make natural wines from Georgian grapes, using the traditional method with qvevri – large clay pots buried underground. This is the way Georgians have made wine for thousands of years. Every year, we produce around 14,000 bottles.
Our wines are enjoyed around the world – we export to 16 countries, including the USA, Japan, Denmark, Greece, Germany, Australia, Taiwan, France, Netherlands, Sweden, England, Poland, Portugal, Serbia, Finland, Switzerland.
The winery is just 15 km from Martvili Canyon and 15 km from the historic Nokalakevi Castle. We’re located right by the Tekhuri River, and the road to the winery is fully paved, so it’s easy to reach with any kind of vehicle.
We offer wine tastings and tours for both small and large groups.
You can also book our space for corporate events, parties, and celebrations.
Our facilities are fully adapted for guests with disabilities, ensuring a comfortable experience for all.
