Uchas Wine

Ucha Macharashvili’s winery is located in the village of Makhatauri, within the Sachkhere Municipality. The winery produces wines from authentic Imeretian grape varieties—specifically Tsolikouri, Tsitska, Dzelshavi, Rko Red, and Rko White—as well as Pet-Nats made from Tsitska, Dzelshavi, and Tsolikouri. The winery owns its own vineyards, featuring natural vines and an exceptional terroir characterized by limestone soil; the vineyards and winery are situated at an altitude of 750 meters above sea level.
