About
Jobava Winery welcomes tourists and guests to discover an unforgettable wine and culinary experience.
Located in the village of Shilda, Kvareli Municipality, within the renowned Kindzmarauli microzone, Jobava Winery invites you to explore its wine tours, diverse tasting packages, and exceptional restaurant services.
Founded in 2013 by a family from Abkhazia, Jobava Winery initially focused on cultivating Georgia’s indigenous grape varieties: Saperavi, Rkatsiteli, Kisi, Khikhvi, and Kakheti Mtsvane. These formative years laid a solid foundation for the winery’s growth. Since 2022, Jobava Winery has expanded its operations to include winemaking, combining traditional Georgian qvevri methods with European technologies. The winery also uses the age-old practice of distilling chacha over wood. Looking ahead, Winery plans to launch its wine brandy in 2026, further enriching its offerings and continuing to innovate while honoring Georgia’s rich winemaking traditions.
The winery caters to both tourist groups and local visitors, offering tasting packages and experiences tailored to all interests and preferences. Each package includes a guided tour of the vineyards and cellar, tastings of distinctive wines and chacha, and the opportunity to participate in a masterclass in traditional Georgian cuisine, where guests can prepare and savor their handmade dishes.
Beyond these, Jobava Winery offers a range of unique experiences, including forest picnics, vineyard lunches, qvevri opening ceremonies, and seasonal activities such as grape harvesting and pressing.
The winery’s restaurant, serving a diverse array of authentic Georgian dishes, offers an inviting space for parties, celebrations, and memorable evenings.
