Kardanakhi Estate

Kardanakhi Estate is located in Kardenakhi village. This village is unique in Georgia and throughout Europe. It is the only one place where both white grape origin AOC "Tsarapi" and red grape "Akhoebi" are located within the borders of this village; and there are also three more AOC places of origin common to Kakheti. - Kardenakhi is also the village where a specialized wine factory was built for the first time in Georgia at the end of the 19th century, and the wine production was technologically systematized, described and approved. - Our own cellars were built in 1886, and the first wine was placed in them in 1904, and winemaking was carried out in these cellars until 1923, when Russian occupiers nationalized it. It took us 3 years to restore this infrastructure and return it to its historical role. Nowadays winecellar produces 14 different alcoholic drinks: qvevri wine, fortified wine and Chacha.
