About
Always OpenIn 2014, Natia and Shota moved from the noisy city life to their ancestral home in the village of Alvani, where they began producing wine in their cellar and cultivating traditional Georgian wheat varieties such as Tchvel, Doli, Shavphkha, and Dika. Later, they decided to host guests for wine tastings and dinners.
Upper Alvani is home to the Tushetians, so their menu is mainly composed of traditional Tushetian dishes – shepherd's Qaurma, Kotor (Tushetian Khachapuri), Tushetian Khinkali, Dathkhuri, Gordila, and Tushetian triangular bread. These are the dishes that greet guests at "Lagazi," and, if they wish, they can prepare them together with the hosts. Guests have the opportunity to observe the bread-baking process using ancient Georgian flour, visit the wheat fields, and witness flour milling at the mill.
