About

Always Open
An ethnographic village spread over 3 hectares creates a small Samegrelo within the region, offering visitors a unique opportunity to experience the local culture. The Megrelian culture, history, and traditions converge in this welcoming venue, with Megrelian cuisine serving as its crowning glory. At 'Sisatura,' traditional dishes made from locally sourced ingredients showcase the finest aspects of Megrelian culinary heritage. The restored dwellings and opportunities to participate in rituals and food preparation provide a tangible connection to the history of Samegrelo. Since 2019, the Chitanava family has warmly welcomed each guest at the entrance, inviting them into the rich and diverse landscape of Samegrelo by the Black Sea, allowing them to fully immerse themselves in its essence—through cuisine, folklore, history, and traditions. If you wish to be part of this experience, visit the small Samegrelo—'Sisatura.
